Study on the Mode and Strategy of BALIS Document Delivery Promotion MonthDOI: 10.4236/oalib.1112512, PP. 1-13 Subject Areas: Management Information Systems Keywords: BALIS, Document Delivery, Promotion Month, Promotion Mode, Promotion Strategy Abstract The “Promotion Strategy (PS)” of BALIS Document Delivery Promotion Month (BDDPM) will change with its “promotion theme (PT)”, but what remains unchanged is its “promotion mode (PM)”. Its PM mainly refers to the “centralized and unified promotion”. Its PS mainly focuses on three aspects: “personalized and innovative promotion” “user training” and “performance evaluation (PE)”. In recent years, although the university library community has mentioned the role of the “Promotion Month” to some extent when studying the BALIS Document Delivery, there has been no literature on the PM and PS of the BDDPM from the perspective of “reading promotion” (RP). Therefore, this article mainly focuses on the PM and PS of the BDDPM as the research object and hopes that by tracking its changes and characteristics in PT and PE in the past decade, the internal motivation and logic of the continuous optimization of its PM and PS can be studied, and the ways and methods worth learning from in the RP can be summarized, and can provide case analysis for “university library alliances” in other regions of China.
