This paper presents original research studying the
effects of biocompatible nanoparticles standardized (ICNB) on the permeability
of erythrocytes and eryptosis. The presented evidence demonstrates that
changing orientation and mobility protons of the hydrogen atoms in the pericellular
fluid significantly modify the permeability and physiological activity of
erythrocytes. The leading role of the state of cell membrane and transport
activity enzymes (ATPase) in ensuring its permeability and functi...

Iatrogenic vascular
injuries to the knee in orthopedic surgery are a major concern for surgeons and
a major problem for patients. They are fortunately rare, but it is equally
difficult to process. The first decisions taken as soon as you confirm the
diagnosis are the most important for the patient’s recovery. We did a review of
the cases in our center where they were present simultaneously in the Department
of Orthopaedic Surgery and Vascular Surgery.

We previously reported that the prevalence of oral thrush among Maasai
women of reproductive age in Ngorongoro Conservation Area was abnormally high
(32%) in the absence of immune-compromising diseases such as HIV. This study
was undertaken to test the hypothesis that Maasai women of reproductive age are
prone to oral thrush because they are deficient in micronutrients such as Vitamins A, C, D, and B12, as well as
iron and folate which are known to have immune modulating functions. Method:
The s...

The article reflects the results of the study of the
process of hardening of steels radiation fiber laser and the increase of
productivity of process of laser hardening due to implementation of fiberoptic
lasers instead of CO 2 and the increase of the coefficient of
absorption of laser radiation and the exclusion of the necessity to use absorbing
coating. The research studied the structure of the hardened layer, compared
with the structure of the obtained on CO 2 laser, and p...

Aim: Alterations in thyroid function with a
simultaneous increase of hCG in some pregnancy diseases have been reported.
However, the relationship between thyroid hormones and hCG during preeclampsia
is not yet evaluated. In this study we determined serum levels of hCG, TSH,
free T3 (fT3) and free T4 (fT4) in normal pregnant woman and in patients with
preeclampsia and evaluated the correlation between these hormones. Methods:
Blood samples were taken from 20 healthy pregnant women as control and ...

The study examines the relationship between bank
credit and economic growth in Nigeria by considering the total bank credit
extended to the production sector (which comprises manufacturing, agriculture,
fishery and forestry, mining and quarrying, real estate and construction), general
commerce sector (comprising: bills discounted, domestic trade, exports and imports)
and services sector (comprising: public utilities, transport and communication,
credit to financial institutions). Time series dat...

In this paper, the Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Flow of
Viscous Fluid over a Nonlinear Stretching Sheet is investigated numerically.
The partial differential equations governing the flow are reduced to a non
linear ordinary differential equations by using similarity transformations. The
resulting
transformed equations are numerically solved by an explicit finite difference
scheme known as the Keller Box Method. The velocity profiles are determined
and the effects of the magnetic parameter and non l...

This study analyzes a single server queueing
model with a time-dependent arrival rate and
service rate is constant. In this model, the incoming arrivals are Poisson
stream; service time is exponentially distributed and the first-come first-served
queueing discipline. We obtain an explicit expression for the state
probability distribution with time-dependent arrival rate using unit step
function.

Policy reforms in education have considerable
potential to correct social inequities and assist in the building of more
inclusive societies either through improved efficiencies and/or equity in education
service provision. Primary education is a public service whose consumption has
huge positive externalities—social and economic benefits. In many developing
countries, girls are usually excluded from
the consumption of this service for a variety of reasons—some of which are
social, cultural or ec...

Calcifying Epithelial Odontogenic Tumor (CEOT) is a
rare benign odontogenic tumor that was first described by Pindborg in 1955. It
accounts for less than 1% of all odontogenic neoplasms. This lesion is a locally
aggressive benign odontogenic neoplasm arising from epithelial tissue. The radiographic
appearance is characterized by uni- or multilocular radiolucent areas with
radiopaque masses of varying sizes; there is a frequent association with an
unerupted tooth. Most CEOT are intraosseous lesio...
