Clustering in wireless sensor network (WSN) is an efficient way to structure
and organize the network. The cluster head (CH) forms dominant set in the network
responsible for the creation of clusters, maintenance
of the topology and data aggregation. A cluster head manages the resource
allocation to all the nodes belonging to its cluster. In this paper, we propose
a novel distributed clustering approach called Hybrid Weight-based Clustering Algorithm
(HWCA). HWCA considers the neighborhood, the

We discuss an alternative version of non-relativistic Newtonian mechanics
in terms of real Hilbert space mathematical framework. It is demonstrated that
the physics of this scheme is in accordance with the standard formulation.
Heisenberg-Schrodinger non-relativistic quantum mechanics is considered adequate
and complete. Since the suggested theory is dispersion free, linear superposition
principle is not violated but cannot affect results of measurements due to
spectral decomposition theorem for...

This work investigates the proximate and quantitative phytochemical
composition of Aframomum chrysanthum (AC). The result of proximate analysis showed carbohydrate composition of
(65.44% ± 1.7%) to be the highest component, followed by crude protein (13.10% ± 1.2%) and ash with the
least value (2.28% ± 0.1%). Quantification of the revealed phytochemical component showed the
concentration (μg/ml) of the
following in the order: alkaloids > flavonoids > tannins > phenol. The
study p...

Pyogenic liver abscess commonly occurs as a complication of biliary tract
and gastrointestinal infections, with diverticulitis and perforated bowel
becoming leading causes in recent years. We report the first case of liver abscess
as a complication of asymptomatic diverticulitis with no bacteremia, as well as
colovesical fistula. And, with this case presentation, we stress the importance
of considering diverticulitis in asymptomatic patients with liver abscess, as
well as the importance of early...

The aim of this work was to determine the
correlation between the characteristics of enterprises and entrepreneurs and competitiveness in SMEs (Small and
Medium Enterprises) in México City. For this purpose the data collected in the
first phase of this research were taken, which were collected through field
work using direct structured questionnaire to a sample of 400 companies and
correlation statistical tests were performed using the method Chi square. The main findings indicate that the level...

This paper argues that centralised planning has markedly utopian
overtones since it envisions a system in which the day-to-day behaviour of
workers is not governed by the profit motive. A system of producer
cooperatives, on the contrary, is devoid of such utopian strain since the
members of its constituent firms would engage in production with the aim of
maximising the satisfaction associated with their work and can therefore be an
alternative to the capitalism. Paraphrasing Engels, therefore, i...

Attitude
is one of the important affective factors mediating the SL/FL learning.
Scholars, however, are divided as to what categories there are in it. This
paper aims to develop and validate a survey of attitudes toward web-based
autonomous college English learning (WBACEL). At the stage of pretesting, two
teaching methodological experts were invited to have a first evaluation on the
wording and format of the survey, and 20 items were suggested to delete. Then
it is a small-scale pretesting; thr...

The purpose of this paper was to explore the management of kindergarten
school of Dilla University with reference to the learning environment and the
kind of pedagogy employed. To examine the issue under consideration, the study
was guided by qualitative case study. Semi-structured interview was the dominant
data collection tool. On the basis of their contributions to the study six
participants were selected purposefully. The central research questions were, “To
what extent the learning environm...

Agriculture is one
of the main economic activities in the world, with its significance magnified especially
among the world’s poor. This paper seeks to explore how climate change would
impact on the agricultural sector and consequently food security. Agricultural
activities in most developing countries entirely depend on rainfall patterns, on
the contrary, climate change has emerging as an environmental challenge with
adverse impacts expected on food security. This is mainly through incidences o...
