During prolonged exercise, fatty acids are mobilized from triglycerides
(TG) and become an important energy source. But excess accumulation of TG in
different tissues causes abnormalities in humans. Role of high fat diet in the
distribution of TG is well established but the role of mixed dietary fat is not
clear. In our study, exercised Swiss Albino mice were subjected to feed high
fat diet and mixed fat diet (Saturated Unsaturated fat enriched diet) for the
period of four weeks to show the ef...

This study was undertaken to investigate those factors that were
influencing as factors of absenteeism from school for students with physical
impairment in Hedar 11 Secondary School of North Gondar Zone of Amhara Regional
State of Ethiopia. Five students with physical impairments were selected
through available sampling technique and 8 teachers were selected from 24
teachers of the school through simple random sampling via lottery method.
Questionnaire and interview were the main data collection...

Despite widespread and long-standing commitment to the notion of
leadership across the teaching profession, it is unusual for the theory and
practice of leadership to be taught as a subject in education. This study
examined what factors the participants believed influenced their school management
approach and how they defined their current leadership styles. This paper
offers theoretically informed models of leadership which encompasses different
purposes (assessment of self and the school syste...

Generalized spinal cord atrophy is rare. Several causes can be found
responsible for this entity. Marfan syndrome
(MS) is a clinically and allelically heterogeneous, heritable connective tissue
disorder. Previous study has implicated neuromuscular involvement in this
syndrome. Here, we report the description of a patient with generalized spinal
cord atrophy, which may be attributed to MS. Though not all patients represent with
spinal cord atrophy, our case suggests that generalized spinal cord a...

Introduction:
Mental disorders are the most stigmatized diseases. Despite the progress in
social psychiatry and the adoption of mechanisms that raise awareness in the
public, mentally ill patients are continuing to be victims of discrimination.
Nurses and health care professionals are working together with patients and
their families in order to address issues that are raised by those behaviors.
Propose: The present study aims to investigate the nurses’ attitudes towards
mental disorders and the...

3-D thermal model of energy efficiency house for rural areas is proposed.
For research and optimization of thermal regimes and envelopes structure constructive,
finite element and computational models are developed. These models are practically
implemented in the software packages SolidWorks and COMSOL Multiphysics. Created
model allows calculating 3-D temperature field of building with local heat insulator
materials using free available software. Method: Computer modeling. Additional object—air...

Human
mirror neuron system is believed to provide the basic mechanism for social
cognition. Mirror neurons were first discovered in 1990s in the premotor area
(F5) of macaque monkeys. Besides the premotor area, mirror neuron systems,
having different functions depending on their locations, are found in various
cortical areas. In addition, the importance of cingulate cortex in
mother-infant relationship is clearly emphasized in the literature. Functional
magnetic resonance imaging, electroencepha...

Length-weight relationship is an essential biological parameter needed to
appreciate the suitability of the environment for any fish species. That is why
many fishery biological studies give an importance to it. The relationships
between total length and body depth and girth are very important in estimating
the allowable catch and appropriate mesh size to be used in a fishery. Length-weight
and some morphometric relationships (depth-total length, girth-total length and
dorsal fin length and anal...

The use of technology in social and educational settings has expanded over the last decade. Millennial students are more likely to multitask, using a variety of devices, in social and classroom activities. The aim of this study was to determine if in-class multitasking, specifically texting, had an impact on test scores of beginning nursing students. In this experimental study, ninety-one students enrolled in a first level nursing course were randomly assigned to texting and non-texting groups d...

A theory of relativistic traveling wave tube (RTWT) with magnetized cold plasma-filled
corrugated waveguide with solid electron beam is given. The entire system
influenced a strong longitudinal magnetic field that magnetized plasma and
electron beam. The characteristic of the dispersion relation is obtained by
numerical solutions. The effect of electron beam density, corrugated period,
waveguide radius on the dispersion relation and growth rate is analyzed. Some
useful results are given.
