Okra ( Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench) is a traditional pod vegetable
widely grown in low, medium and high-input systems for domestic and export markets.
The economic and ecological sustainability of okra in these systems is under question
because of the low-yielding potential, sub-optimal pod quality and susceptibility
to biotic and biotic stresses especially the yellow vein mosaic virus (YVMV) of
the traditionally cultivated open-pollinated varieties (OPVs) and landraces. Development

This paper examines the importance of effective graphics of communication in the design of books for effective teaching-learning outcomes. The paper underscores the critical importance of textbooks in the teaching-learning dyadic relationship. It reiterates the fact that textbooks are veritable sources of information and communication to the teachers and learners. It thus elucidates the need for the provision of suitable illustrative materials for textbook publishing and development. The paper t...

Incised valley is an important kind of depositional system in the
Chepaizi area, west Junggar Basin. In this paper, incised valley depositional
system and its prospect direction in the area were obtained with the analysis
of seismic reflection, depositional and logging characters. The results show
that the Chepaizi uplift Jurassic developed four kinds of filling modes
including vertical aggradation, side aggradation, disorder and compound mode
and three kinds of distribution type including unita...

Pegylated-interferon (IFN) plus ribavirin remains the most effective
therapeutic regimen for patients with chronic hepatitis C interferon.
Thrombocytopenia is a common side effect of this treatment, often leading to
discontinuation of a potentially curative therapy. Splenectomy was a clinically
effective treatment for hepatitis C virus-associated thrombocytopenia.
Splenectomy in patients with hepatitis C cirrhosis is now safer prelude to
antiviral treatment. Overwhelming post splenectomy infecti...

Various metallic and non-metallic objects are placed over the penis to increase sexual performance or

Vein of Galen aneurysmal malformations (VGAMs) are rare congenital abnormalities that can cause severe morbidity and mortality. VGAMs present in different way from vein of Galen aneurysmal dilatations (VGADs). The VGAMS have a parenchymal arteriovenous malformation that drains through the vein of Galen whereas VGADs may present with intracranial hemorrhage. In neonates VGAMs result in high-output cardiac failure. Surgery offers little improvement, with fatal outcomes in 80% to 100% of cases.

The flexible control of DC motor has been donated in the extensive use of
DC motor in the era of industry, as the increasing usage of semiconductor power
converter units. The speed control of DC motor is very sophisticated and
specific. The speed of DC motor has been controlled by controlling the armature
voltage by using thyristors. The armature voltage is controlled by using the
different types of AC to DC semiconductor converters such as half wave
converter, semi converter and full wave conve...
