The primary focus of this study was to understand the workplace stress by
exploring the effects of organisational culture and stress on employee
commitment. The attempt was to bridge the gap among organisational culture,
workplace stress and employee commitment. Although the concepts of
organizational culture and stress have been well researched upon in the past, a
few studies provide detailed insights into
the interplay among the concepts of organisational culture, workplace stress and commitme...

Persistent
infection with a high-risk human papillomavirus (HRHPV) is generally accepted
as a necessary cause of cervical cancer. Modern lifestyle may represent the
most influential factor considering persistent genital human papillomavirus
(HPV) infection in women. Due to the contemporary clothing and use of toilet
bowl, the female micturition is usually performed in
sitting position with fully adducted thighs. The resistance to the urine flow
due to clenched Labia maiora and Labia mi...

Background: Human growth factors serve as secretomes that regulate skin
cell proliferation/differentiation and production of extracellular elements
of the matrix and treat photo-aging. Microneedling of skin can also improve
aging skin by facilitating normal wound healing of the temporary dermal conduits for therapeutic and cosmetic
benefits. Objectives: This open, randomized split-face and single-center
controlled study evaluated the safety and efficacy of the application of a
cosmeceutical form...

Mother to child HIV transmission accounts for over 95 percent of
childhood infections. However, many HIV Positive women still become pregnant. Achieving
the goal “HIV free generation” would only be a dream, unless a strong emphasis
is given to prevention of pregnancy among HIV positive women. Therefore, we
aimed to assess family planning utilization and associated factors among HIV
positive women enrolled at ART program in Bahirdar town health facilities.
Institution based cross-sectional study ...

Knee dislocations are rare injuries. Posterior
knee dislocations are only a small subset of them. There is a paucity of
literature regarding the management of such neglected cases. We report here, a
case of neglected irreducible posterior knee dislocation treated with a total
knee arthroplasty followed by gradual rehabilitation with good outcome at 1
year follow-up.

Bacterial diversity and total viable counts of bacteria of the different
soil samples from two different localities in Omdurman north region—Karary and Khor Omer sub-regions—were carried out. Soil physical and chemical characteristics (pH, EC, SP,
solublecations: Na, K, Ca, Mg and anion P, organic carbon, total nitrogen and
soil texture) in each studied sub-regions were measured. Qualitative analysis
of microorganisms isolated from the studied soil samples reveals a total of
more than eight diff...

Radiocarpal
dislocation is a particular entity, infrequent, representing only 0.2% of all dislocationsas evidenced by the scarcity of publications, which mainly affects young
patients, and most often the result of violent trauma. We reported a case of a 35-year-old male patient who sustained dorsal
radiocarpal dislocation after a fall from a high place, with fracture of the
radial and ulnar styloid process in both wrists, associated to a tiered trauma
of the right upperlimb. He was treated with ...

Introduction: The Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) to build the resilience of nations and communities to disasters has been proposed since year 2005. Even though educational based disaster risk reduction programs have been conducted by the institutional agencies for years, communities are still weak in response to disaster preparedness. The current efforts need to be revised to understand the possible dilemma of moving the community from fragility to resilience. Objective: To examine the communi...

For many years the attempts to create a super long conductive channel
were taken in order to study the upper atmosphere and to settle special tasks,
related to the energy transmission. There upon the program of “Impulsar”
creation represents a great interest, as this program in a combination with high-voltage high repetition rate
electrical source can be useful to solve the above mentioned problems.
It looks like as some kind of “renaissance of N. Tesla ideas” for the days of
high power lasers. ...

In most proteomics analyses and in particular for the “off-gel”
approaches, based essentially on chromatography, the complexity of the proteome
should be reduced; otherwise identifications can be hindered, especially if the
mass spectrometry analysis is not conducted using state-of-the-art
instrumentation. Even if the method used is a bottom-up proteomics, it appears
mandatory to pre-fractionate the proteins in order to reduce the complexity. We
report here the development and validation of a pr...
