Mutual suiting relationship between breeding way and widening germplasm
was first analyzed. Source of utilization germplasm was the more the widener
from only using variation in a variety to among family even bigger scope, especially
transformation gene breeding could use superfine gene of living things in the
world and create germplasm resources that could not obtain in conventional
breeding. Secondly contradiction and its movement between ecological and yield
ability character, among yield abi...

To determine the efficacy of formulations Ca(NO 3) 2 liq, Ca(NO 3) 2 sol-1, Ca(NO 3) 2 sol-2
and Ca(NO 3) 2 sol-3, as well as the most appropriate dose
of each formulation to induce the growth and yield of tomato ( Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.), the
research was conducted in greenhouses, to transplanting a plant per plastic pot
with capacity of 12 L, which were applied 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16 and 15 L·ha ﹣1...

In this paper, we aimed at examining the role of natural rubber ( Hevea brasiliensis) cultivation as a
source of income for rural communities as well as a potential source of
ecological damage. We reviewed existing scientific literature and data sources
on natural rubber cultivation particularly in south East Asia. We observed
that, the latex from the lower part of the trunk has a high commercial value
which can assist rural communities in socioeconomic development; the trunk is a
source o...

Background: The present study was undertaken to enumerate the floristic composition
of Veddhagiri hills, the Southern Western Ghats of Erode district. It becomes essential
to analyze the diversity statically to find out the distribution of plants species
in various families. Material and Methods: Several field trips were made from September
2013 to March 2014, covering different seasons, in order to know the phenology of
the plants. Results: A total number of 135-species under 40-families with 1...

Artemisia annua is the source of artemisinin, an antimalarial drug which is effective
against multidrug-resistant strains of plasmodium, the malarial parasite.
Malaria has serious effects on morbidity and mortality thus negatively
impacting on agricultural production and food security. Although artemisinin
has been found to be a useful medicine; its production is very low in comparison
with what is actually needed to treat the worldwide threat of malaria. On the
other hand, the lower cont...

This research is conducted to determine if the shelf life of bananas
increases when it is stored in closed polystyrene containers and placed in
refrigerated camera with cool temperatures. Bananas were acquired when they
were in greenness rates 1, 2, 3 and 4. In the refrigerator it is applied
temperatures of 10℃ - 12℃. By each maturity index (1, 2, 3 and 4), the fruits were packaged in
four containers (repeats), which were opened every five days to observe signs
of sensory maturity. The response ...

The experiment was conducted with thirty-five
wheat genotypes at the research field of the Department of Agronomy of the Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University from November 2011 to March 2012
to screen out the wheat genotypes for drought tolerance of thirty-five wheat
genotypes under water deficit condition. The experiment was carried out in a
split- plot design comprising two water regimes in main plot and thirty-five
wheat genotypes were placed randomly in sub-plot with thr...

Top-shoot cuttings were evaluated as planting material with different
planting time for rapid multiplication of potato. Plants produced from
top-shoot cuttings planted on 25 th November (T 3) produced
higher mean tuber yield (32.95 tha ﹣1) than December planting. Total
yield of potato increased 122.8% from early one source crop plants due to taking two times cutting and it was 89.7 % from
late one source crop plants. Seed tuber yield increased 167.89% and 95.33% in

This research was conducted to determine the chemical condition initial
and final of the soil, having been treated with compost, primary minerals
amorphous (MPA) and microorganisms (M) as well as response of the hybrid “Moctezuma”
of saladette tomato ( Lycopersicon
esculentum Mill.). Compost and MPA were applied 30 days before the
transplant, the Steiner solution from the transplant and the microorganisms
every eight days up to harvest in drip irrigation; the population density was
25,000 ...
