Abstract

The integration of business analytics into organizational decision-making has introduced substantial ethical challenges, particularly in the domain of data privacy. This paper investigates the tension between leveraging cus-tomer data for enhanced profitability and adhering to ethical and regulatory standards. Through a comprehensive analysis of case studies and existing frameworks, the study identifies key areas where privacy concerns conflict with business objectives. It further proposes methodologies for balancing these competing interests, emphasizing the importance of transparency, ac-countability, and compliance with data protection regulations. The findings aim to provide a structured approach for organizations to implement ethi-cally sound analytics practices while achieving sustainable business growth.
